Elizabeth has been drawing and painting her entire life, so you can assume that she has acquired quite a vast portfolio. Instead of subjecting you to amusing cat and house drawings with very elaborate fences and gardens from when she was very little, the focus here is of her work post-high school, concentrating on her later college career and her work post degree. The portfolio is broken down by subcategories, for easy viewing. The fine art section adheres closely to the definition of “fine art” being art intended primarily for beauty rather than utility. Here you will find more drawing and painting based pieces, from her Jane Austen and Paranoia series to her diptychs, figure Studies and oil paintings. The graphic design section is more closely involved with work that accomplishes more than just beauty, embracing the more utilitarian forms of product and poster design. From there we go to the vastly practical web design, where Elizabeth merges utilitarian ideals with beauty and ornamentation. Photography is self explanatory, as is sculpture. The theatre section consists of work she did while at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, from set renderings to set designs, and a few productions she happily worked on while there. Please enjoy your perusal and feel free to email Elizabeth with any questions you may have.
As a final note, the portfolio is in desperate need of updating with work from Illustration to Tyopgraphic design, and Elizabeth desperately hopes to get this rectified in the coming weeks (only so much coding one can do) so if you are a regular visitor you can see some delightful new peices shortly.
